Blog Entry: I'm gonna be away for a very long time :( This always happens when I'm very busy with things like.... school. Not to mention that it's my final year.. and I still have lots of things to catch up on. The holiday break would be here in a week but I doubt I would be enjoying Christmas season like any other person. It's the only period of time when I could actually work on my portfolio and final year project at my own pace. A few days back, got myself to play Trickster Online for the 2nd time. 1st time during Closed Beta. It has definitely changed a lot ever since my first game. But still, as always, after a few rounds of doing the same thing over and over again, it bores me to death. I don't have time for any proper game that requires too much focus and time. So thought I would like to talk about Facebook games :) It's amazing how Word Challenge, such a simple word game, could bring many people to like them, both casual and hardcore gamers alike. I preferably like Geo Challenge, for some unknown reasons... every day I would spend a total of 5 hours sitting in front of the laptop and trying hard to beat my high score.. despite the fact that I was supposed to be doing something more productive than that. On a heavier note, like I said, I would be gone for a very long time.. I would only be back around mid-Feb? That's like eh... 3 1/2 months from now. For ya information, I'm currently working on a game demo with 2 other teammates... a 2D flash game to be exact. Being the main designer is very stressful.. I have to decide the designs, the concepts and everything with my own .... intuition. I'm also incharge of most of the animations in the game. The only thing I don't need to lift a finger on is the Actionscript. I'm cool with that cos seriously... my scripting sucks. There will be 2 more critique sessions before this whole thing is over. And then it would preparation for our grad show. BIG thing. And then it's time to submit important documents and apply to universities! Another big thing.
