Blog Entry: [center]Movie Star, All-star Athlete or Platinum-selling Musician? [/center] If you had a choice, what would you be? I mean, let’s face it; we all know movie stars have it better off than we do (or do they?), they get the money, get the hot guys (or girls), and are almost above the law (except dog fights. Murder is still A-OK). You can even get your own TV show by just having cameras follow you around while you grocery shop or play video games! But which job is the best? Movie Star Pros: They get to travel the most beautiful places and see the world. They are role models to the rest of the world. They get ridiculous sums of money for 9 out of every 10 movies where they have smart people make him look attractive and cool and sexy (and whatever else…) as possible though occasionally they take on a less glamorous role and is therefore praised for his bravery for acting out the role and given awards………….. Cons: Early morning shoots. Fighting of Scientologists. LOL [/center] When they are old… (55+) : facelifts and hair plugs make throughout their life have made them look… just terrible. All-star Athlete Pros: They spend their early adulthood being idolized by young kids, and enjoy comradery and competition. They make a buttload of money. Yes. A whole buttload. They are the role models to many children and adults who admire them. Cons : Drug tests. Staph infections. When they’re old…(55+) : hip replacements and noticeable limps, scars and disfigurations. And they get worshiped like gods on stage and everywhere else – there’s no comparing the buzz a musician gets while on stage to any other kind of fan worship. Cons: Crooked managers. Bad fashion choices documented on album covers. When they’re old…(55+) : dead. Or state fairs. One or the other.
