I've seen a shortage of pick up and play games. These are games that, as the title says, can be picked up and played. They include GTA games and copycat games like them. More open world relaxed games, Mercenaries 1 and 2 for example. Geometry wars 1 and 2 or Bomberman. These games for the most part, let you play without needing to progress.
