Sony has announced that ps3 firmware version 2.53 is now available, promising improvements to the way Flash Player works with the internet browser.

Users of the ps3 internet browser should now be able to access more sites that use Flash, plus the added benefits of full-screen mode playback and Live movie (RTMP format) playability.

Microsoft claims to have had "record" Xbox 360 sales for Black Friday, and measured the retail performance against that of of rival PS3.
