The Palace

 

Jason is determined to find a way to bring back to life Alceme.

 

When you are at the Delphi, speak with the noblewomen chatting nearby. The chat allows you to gain favor with each of your four patron gods.

 

Before heading into the courtyard, find the bust of Hermes near the Mausoleum entrance. This sculpture is one of many Herms you will encounter, which tell the

Speaking to the nobles gains you the opportunity to gain Favor with Athena or Apollo.

 

Enter the training room through the south doorwar. Here, the guards of Iolcus train under the tutelage of your lieutenants, Evarias, Platon, and Myron. Move toward Evarias and converse with him: He asks if you’d like to spar with the recently recruited

Move about and go away from the memorial to the far end of the walkway. Proceed to the edge of the walkway. You will have your third memory of Alceme.

 

After the memory is done turn around and enter the Royal Court. Converse to Captain Idas who he will tell you more about the Blacktongue assassin, as well as the Ionians’ involvement and the troubles in the village.  Then Idas will tell you that he will be stepping down and you need to make a decision of who will take his place.

Mercenaries attack you, but you have Captain Idas and soldiers to assist you fight them. Practice with your weapons while fighting as you will need the skill in ahead.

 

The assassin is near, but more mercenaries to fight off. When you finish fighting them talk to the wounded Idas, and then go outside with his men at your side. You see the assassin ahead, slipping through a doorway. More and more Mercenaries are heading your way as you go after the assassin. You will be instructed on performing a Weapon Swap Attack that allows you to change weapons in the middle of a combo. Slash and bash your way through. Just move your way through the enemies fast and go after the assassin.

The Assassin in his scape gets stopped by Hercules. The assassin tells you that the Blacktongues have returned.  Take revenge your loss and kill the assassin.

Finally, the TOMBSTONE TELEPORT may be helpful for advanced players, but catching the NPCs in story mode off guard isn't an effective tactic.
